Lindner Center of HOPE hosted its signature fundraiser, Touchdown for HOPE on Sunday, February 11, 2024 in The Bally Sports Club at The Great American Ballpark. The event drew record sponsorship support and the largest attendance post pandemic.
Mardi Gras for Homeless Children
The 33rdAnnual Mardi Gras for Homeless Children on Fat Tuesday, February 13th, was a huge success! This event, hosted by the Northern Kentucky Restaurant Association and benefitting three local charities—Bethany House Services, Welcome House of Northern Kentucky, and Brighton Center’s Homeward Bound Shelter—raised more than $230,000 to help feed, house, and support children experiencing homelessness.
Future of the Arts Gala
150 School for the creative & Performing Arts students performed alongside their mentors from the Cincinnati Ballet, Cincinnati Opera, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Cincinnati Shakespeare Co., CSO/Pops, Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati, and May Festival.
Open Your Heart Fundraiser
Stepping Stones hosted its 16thannual Open Your Heart fundraiser on February 6, 2024, in a, hybrid format. Stepping Stones netted more than $86,000 to benefit year-round programming for children, teens and adults with disabilities.
Victorian at the Riverside Gala
The Victorian at Riverside Assisted Living and Memory Care Home held a Casino Royale themed galaon February 10th. One hundred twenty-fiveguests bid on global trips to destinations used in James Bond films. The 2024 Victorian at Riverside Philanthropic Award winner was Christ Hospital physician Dr. Christian Gausvik for his work in the field of gerontology and medical care for the LGBTQ community.
Adopt a Class Tomorrow’s Leaders Celebration
The Adopt A Class Tomorrow's Leaders Celebration was held on Friday, November 10th at the Bell Event Centre. The event celebratedof Adopt AClass's 20th anniversary and featured a live and silent auction, interactive experiences and games, and a special whiskey blending and tasting opportunity with locally owned Brain Brew Custom Whiskey.The event was a great opportunity for the community tocome together and celebrate the accomplishments of Adopt A Class, as well as raise funds for the future of the organization. Adopt A Class strives to ensure every student in the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky areas have access to caring adult mentors that help them reach their goals
