From the Publisher & Editor-In-Chief

Milestones have a way of making us look both backward and forwardβ€”at where we started, what has changed along the way, and what might still lie ahead. In this issue, we have the opportunity to celebrate two very different Cincinnati-area businesses reaching significant anniversaries.

For me, one of those is particularly personal. This year marks the 50th anniversary of David A. Millett, Inc., the interior design business my father started in 1976 with little more than a creative vision and an entrepreneurial spirit. What began at the family dining room table eventually grew into the business it is today, and having had the opportunity to work alongside my father for nearly two decades, I have seen first hand that his enthusiasm for the next project remains every bit as strong as it was at the beginning. Our feature, Creative by Nature, looks back at that journeyβ€”and at the family, clients, friendships and creativity that have shaped it over five decades.

A Decade of Betting on Downtown.

Ten years after opening its doors, Hotel Covington celebrates a decade of honoring the past while helping define the future of downtown Covington.
